The Miss USA Class of 2020 was heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with many of their reigns pushed out to 18 months or more and the Miss USA pageant itself held in November, under strict social distancing and masking restrictions. Because of the precautions the contestants had few event opportunities and even completed their official interviews via Zoom! The 2020 state titleholders included the pageant’s first bisexual contestant, business owners, aspiring lawyers, a vet, and a future The Bachelor winner. The winner was Miss Mississippi USA Asya Branch.
