Miss Texas 2014 (Top 12 Miss America), Non-finalist Miss Texas USA 2011A native of Naples, Monique Evans was crowned Miss Florida USA on 18 January 2020 and represented Florida at the Miss USA 2020 pageant in Memphis, Tennessee. Monique is a talented ballet dancer who made the top 12 at Miss America 2015. She is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Nutritional Science and is using her love of science in her career as a psychiatric specialty pharmaceutical representative.
Miss Florida USA 2020 Monique Evans is a Naples, Florida native who spends her free time dancing on her toes as a professionally trained ballerina. A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Nutritional Science with a medical certificate she is using her love of science in her career as a psychiatric specialty pharmaceutical representative. As Miss Florida USA she has chosen the platform “Be Kind to your Mind,“ focusing on mental health and mental illness and helping others understand the difference. She believes there is a mind body connection and daily healthy habits are key to overall health but also realizes we need to be understanding of those with mental illnesses. When not making an impact in the community, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling the globe, scuba diving, wakeboarding and walking her two dogs Bear and Cub.
