A native of Farmington, Chelsea Demby was crowned Miss Connecticut USA on 1 December 2019 and represented Connecticut at the Miss USA 2020 pageant in Memphis, Tennessee. She has a degree in Fashion Communication & Promotion.
Chelsea Demby is a 24 year old graduate of Lasell College with a degree in Fashion Communication & Promotion and a minor in Event Management. She currently works as an Event Program Coordinator for The Hometown Foundation,Inc a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation focused on 5 pillars of charity including animal welfare, emergency response, major illness, military and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Chelsea also works as a model, and fell in love with this industry when she discovered that she is not only able to express herself in a creative way, but she is also able to tell a story through her poses, body, face, and through fashion.
A multi-racial woman, Chelsea has heritage in Sierra Leone, Lebanon, Portugal, England, and Ireland. Born on the island of Nantucket, she is honored to work for a non-profit that makes a difference in the lives of so many people not only in the community of Connecticut but the world!
Her overall passion is to advocate for Self Acceptance while redefining the definition, as acceptance for all. Chelsea believes we are all more empowered when we empower each other.
