A native of Westport, Samantha Sarelli was crowned Miss Connecticut Teen USA on 1 December 2019 and represented Connecticut at the Miss Teen USA 2020 pageant in Memphis, Tennessee. Sam is an 18 year old freshman at Trinity College. She is a first generation Albanian American and a fluent Albanian and Spanish speaker.
Miss Connecticut Teen USA 2020 Samantha Sarelli is an 18 year old freshman at Trinity College. She is planning on double majoring in political science and economics with a minor in human rights. She plans on attending law school in the future to one day specialize in corporate or human rights law. She plans on doing pro-bono work with international human trafficking organizations. She is a current member of the Pre-Law Society at Trinity College and the Investment Club.
Sam graduated high school with a 3.97 GPA and a member of the Math Honor Society, where she tutored inner city children for math.
She is a first generation Albanian American and a fluent Albanian and Spanish speaker. Sam is also an ambassador for United Against Bullies, where she shares her bullying story with students and give them the tools they need to fight bullying and find confidence in themselves. She has reached over 1,000 students and counting. She also has a social movement on Instagram called Spread Kindness with Sam where she uses social media in a positive way to promote anti-bullying messages and share the importance of being kind. Sam is very excited to spend this year advocating for bullying and human trafficking, both issues close to her heart.
