A native of New Haven, Mya Xeller was crowned Miss Connecticut Teen USA on 9 April 2022 and represented Connecticut at the Miss Teen USA 2022 pageant in Reno, Nevada. She is a professional model, competitive dancer and has appeared on television. Presently, she is the Vice-President of “More Than Likes”, a nonprofit organization that works to get teens disconnected from their phones and engaged in impactful community service projects.
Mya Xeller is a 17-year-old recent high school graduate getting ready to take on this big world one adventure at a time. Her endearing heart and infectious personality make her absolutely contagious. Mya is a professional model, competitive dancer and has appeared on television. She keeps herself very busy, donating her time to give back to others. She is hard working and motivated to achieve her own personal goals and strives to positively impact those around her. Mya cherishes her down time with her family and friends and is enjoying the rest of her senior high school year. As Miss Connecticut Teen USA 2022, Mya strives to be an exemplary role model for teens and adolescents, while emphasizing self-confidence, self-worth and a positive self-image.
