A native of Brockton, Sabrina Victor was crowned Miss Massachusetts USA on 12 January 2020 and represented Massachusetts at the Miss USA 2020 pageant in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a Haitian-American performance activist, passionate about sharing diverse stories through all art forms.
A 23-year-old hailing from Brockton Massachusetts, Sabrina graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst receiving two undergraduate degrees in Theater and Journalism, a Multicultural Theater Certificate, and Commonwealth Honors. Throughout her college career, she performed in numerous mainstage productions, producing and directing her own theatrical research piece as a capstone endeavor. She currently works in higher education as a Recruitment Assistant at Bridgewater State University, where she facilitates all part-time hiring for the institution.
After hours, she works as a professional actress in the Boston area with local and regional theaters. Her credited work includes award-winning American Repertory Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage, and Company One, all companies dedicated to new and diverse works. Sabrina serves as a mentor and member of the creative direction team within the Brockton High School Fine Arts Program. As an alum, she enjoys giving back and working with students who are passionate about honing their performance skills and talents.
Sabrina plans to spend the year working with schools across the state and organizations that want to empower their youth. As an advocate for the arts, especially amongst marginalized groups with a lack of access to arts education, she plans to encourage others to change the narratives of today through methods of performance that allow them to share their truths. Her journey as a naturalista also signifies her dedication to embracing all forms of beauty, and she hopes to inspire other women to continue embracing theirs. As a Haitian-American, Sabrina believes in the importance of inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of life, and wants to continue inspiring young girls and boys to chase their dreams.
