A native of Norman, Mariah Jane Davis was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA on 22 December 2019 and represented Oklahoma at the Miss USA 2020 pageant in Memphis Tennessee. She later moved to LA to pursue a career in the entertainment reporting industry.
Mariah Jane Davis is the youngest of four daughters, and a loving mom to two dogs, Grizzly and Little. She and her family are proud members of the Choctaw Nation.
Mariah is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Film and Media Studies. Intrigued by the creative process of TV/Film production, she gained experience producing and screenwriting student films. Following her graduation, Mariah obtained a full-time position with Pilgrim Media and traveled extensively throughout the country shooting for Discovery, which gave her insight to her future.
Rising above worldly stereotypes is when Mariah feels confidently beautiful. Regardless of perceived barriers, she is a powerful Ambassador for women by choosing to support other women in all facets of life. Through Mariah’s passion, she founded the Lift Up Your Sister movement where she promotes and educates the necessity of women honoring and supporting one another. Working with young women as an Ambassador in any situation allows her to set an example of strength and grace, friendship and self-love. Mariah’s passion and love for children’s success allows her to work closely with OK Kids Korral, volunteering and raising funds. She is an accomplished leader in the community, as well as an activist and fundraiser for various charitable organizations. As such, her contributions raised over $160,000 for “Give Kids the World Village” and “Out of the Darkness” for suicide awareness and prevention.
After attending the 2012 Miss Oklahoma USA and Miss Oklahoma Teen USA competitions, Mariah became enchanted with pageantry. She felt a profound sense of inspiration as she watched the contestants display incomparable confidence and elegance. The following year she competed for the first time for Miss Oklahoma Teen USA and again the next year. Following the 2013 and 2014 Miss Oklahoma Teen USA competitions, her ambitions strengthened, and she focused on working on herself until she felt she was in the best position of her life to compete for the prestigious job of Miss Oklahoma USA. Her leadership aspirations continued to strengthen, so she focused on self-reflection and personal growth. As Mariah’s passion and focus came to the forefront, her belief in leading women to a new level of awareness led her to compete for the distinguished title of Miss Oklahoma USA.
Mariah’s life is filled with her love of various activities. She enjoys watching a variety of movies from numerous genres, exploring new cities and cultures, volunteering for charitable organizations, rock climbing, and kick boxing. Her favorite and most cherished activity is spending time with her beloved Grizzly and Little, as well as her family and friends. Over the course of one year she traveled to four countries; Bahamas, Germany, Amsterdam, and France. Mariah cherishes experiencing new cultures and exploring new places. Her extensive travels contributed to her growth and inspired her for future travels.

Mariah’s pageant journey started at Miss Oklahoma Teen USA where she was 2nd runner-up in both 2013 and 2014. She returned to compete in the Miss division at Miss Oklahoma USA 2019 where she was first runner-up to Triana Browne. Mariah and Triana both ended up placing 2nd runner-up at Miss USA!
