Miss Delaware Teen USA 2023 Molly Lavelle is a busy high school junior at Wilmington Friends School where she is working towards her IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma. She is the Sports Section Editor for the school newspaper and was a staff writer for two years.
Molly started dancing competitively at an early age and just retired after 13 years. She now works full-time as a Versaclimber fitness instructor at HiLo House in Wilmington where she uses her dance training to choreograph versa classes, a full body low impact cardio workout based on movements to music.  She works alongside a team of other fitness trainers teaching fitness classes to all ages.In the spring of 2023, Molly ran a campaign with another classmate for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year program. They were able to raise over $50k for blood cancer research and patient support. Giving back to the community and using her voice is something she enjoys doing and hopes to continue as Miss Delaware Teen USA.Molly has always had a passion for sports and fitness and she would like to continue to work in the field after college. Her dream is to be a sports broadcaster and sideline reporter working with corporations such as the Non-finalistL, NBA, and MLB.Molly’s amazing family motivates her every day and are her strongest supporters. Her little sister Emma was born with AMC (arthrogryposis multiplex congenita), a birth condition that affects muscle stiffness. As the new Miss Delaware Teen USA, Molly hopes to continue to advocate for her needs and those of all children with physical limitations, while also encouraging girls to be the healthiest versions of themselves. She is so honored to carry the title of Miss Delaware Teen USA 2023 and can’t wait to compete at the National Miss Teen USA Pageant.
