A native of Odessa, Drew Sanclemente was crowned Miss Delaware USA on 27 June 2021 and represented Delaware at the Miss USA 2021 pageant in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Drew was a second-year medical student during her reign as Miss DE USA.
Drew Sanclemente, 25, a Delaware native from Odessa, is a second year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College where she is studying to become a pediatrician. Drew graduated from Appoquinimink High School and continued her education in Newark at the University of Delaware where she earned an Honors degree in Exercise Science. While in medical school, she continues working with her 501(c)3 non-profit, H.O.P.E Scholarship Foundation, which provides support and scholarships to Delaware students who experienced and overcame sexual or physical violence.
Drew looks forward to illuminating fields in STEM demonstrating to young women that you can wear a swimsuit and scrubs, you can wear and stethoscope and a crown, you can be a scientist, researcher and student doctor and become Miss Delaware USA. In her spare time, Drew enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time at the Delaware beaches! Drew will be the first medical student to compete for the title of Miss USA from Delaware.
