A native of Charlotte, Eliza Minor was crowned Miss North Carolina Teen USA on 20 October 2018 and represented North Carolina at the Miss Teen USA 2019 pageant in Reno, Nevada. With her love for those with physical and mental disabilities, Eliza has been an avid volunteer with Special Olympics of North Carolina as well as a mentor coach for a cheer team for those with special needs.
Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2019 Eliza Minor is a Freshman attending Hickory Ridge High School where she is currently a JV Cheerleader and serves on Student Council. Eliza is the youngest of four siblings with 2 older brothers and an older sister.
Eliza began tumbling at the age of 6 and has been cheering competitively for the past 9 years with the last 3 years, being a member of a worlds team at Cheer Athletics, NC. With her love for those with physical and mental disabilities, she has also been an avid volunteer with Special Olympics of North Carolina as well as a mentor coach for a cheer team for those with special needs.
Eliza serves on the Youth Team at Elevation Church Ballantyne.
Miss North Carolina Teen USA was her first pageant since elementary school and during her reign, it is her goal to speak to young girls about how to become “confidently beautiful” in themselves, something she has personally struggled with.
Eliza’s hobbies include tumbling, making makeup tutorials, volunteering and spending time with her family and 2 dogs, Harper and Chloe.
