A native of Raleigh, Pammy Peters was crowned Miss North Carolina Teen USA on 9 November 2013 and represented North Carolina at the Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. After her reign, Pammy went on to graduate from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Mass Communications in May 2018. While in school, she became a part of the prestigious Honey Bees dance team for the Charlotte Hornets.

2014 bio:

Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2014 Pammy Peters is an 18 year old graduate of Broughton High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. She describes herself as a workaholic and enjoys dedicating every minute of her life working towards goals and serving others. She works at Vestique.com and for Julie Livingston Photography and truly enjoys every minute of it. She believes these two jobs have equipped her with communication skills, in which will help to communicate her message of encouraging teens to be the best version of themselves. Pammy also hopes to be a culturally diverse representation of teens across the country due to her Hispanic heritage.

Pammy has also been playing the piano since the age of 8 years old. She enjoys playing anything from Chopin to Zimmerman. Pammy’s ultimate passions are track and field, working out, and hot yoga. Training at the Athlete’s Performance, Pammy has been able to train alongside NFL Football Player Tory Holt and many other professional and collegiate athletes. When she is not working out, she can be found in front of a camera modeling. You can actually look out for Pammy in Clarisse’s 2014 Prom collection launching this spring in which she had the opportunity to model alongside Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2013 and 1st runner up at Miss Teen USA, Tori Sizemore.

Pammy hopes to use this crown as a voice throughout the state to set a role model for teens. Since the age of 12, she has worked with children with disabilities and it has truly touched her heart in such a special way. She also wants to work closely with the Special Olympics because she finds it amazing how these athletes are not only able to show of their skills but also their heart.
