A native of Surf City, Kenzie Hansley was crowned Miss North Carolina Teen USA on 1 October 2016 and represented North Carolina at the Miss Teen USA 2017 pageant in Phoenix, Arizona. Kenzie enjoys dancing, water sports, and traveling and keeps herself busy by modeling and volunteering with several national non-profit organizations. She graduated from High Point University in 2021.

Winning a state title is a sisterhood for life. Kenzie competed for three years at the Miss Collegiate America pageant, placing first runner-up in 2020, and won the Ultimate International Miss pageant in 2021. In 2023 she returned and competed at Miss North Carolina USA for the first time, finishing first runner-up to Jordyn McKey. She will compete again in 2024.
