A native of Surf City who now lives in Charlotte, Kenzie Hansley was crowned Miss North Carolina USA 2024 on 15 June 2024 and represented North Carolina at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California. Kenzie was Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2017 and won on her second try at the Miss title.

2024 bio:

Kenzie Hansley, Miss North Carolina USA 2024, is a resident of Charlotte North Carolina. She is a Cum Laude graduate of High Point University with an undergraduate education in Broadcast Journalism and Business as well as The University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she received her Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. She is paving the way in her workplace, taking the role as Chief Marketing Officer as the sole female employee within her company. Kenzie has a unique eye for brand identity and works diligently to unify communication elements across multiple platforms through her position as Chief Marketing Officer.

As a survivor of a sexual assault, Kenzie ignited her series Women on Fire and Girls on Fire where she is able to host Self-Defense classes and provide resources for women. She finds confidence in knowing she is creating a safer future for women. Providing both preventative and survivor classes for Middle School aged students and up. Teaching the importance of protecting your space.

Mentorship is what Kenzie hopes to focus on the most during her year. Showing others how impactful pageantry has been in her life. Building up young women and expanding her Self-Defense Series Women on Fire. She plans on being the example of showing resilience in fearlessly chasing your dreams.

Kenzie enjoys spending time with her friend group in the city, exploring farmers markets, and walking trails with her dog. Making sure to always take a moment to appreciate those around her.
