After original winner Brittany Boltinhouse was dethroned, first runner-up Myla Hadley assumed the title of Miss North Carolina USA 2026. Myla will now represent North Carolina at Miss USA 2026 in Miami.

Myla competed three times at Miss Georgia Teen USA from 2019 to 2021, making the top five each year. She returned to compete in Miss this year, finishing first runner-up at Miss North Carolina USA (giving her the opportunity to assume the Miss NC USA title) and 4th runner-up at Miss Alabama USA.
