A native of Amidon, Codi Miller was crowned Miss North Dakota USA on 12 May 2024 and represented North Dakota at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California. Codi originally “aged out” in 2021, after five years as a runner-up, but chose to compete again after the age limit was lifted. She was Miss North Dakota’s Teen USA 2009 and will be the first to compete at Miss USA 15 years after holding the Teen title (this would have been impossible prior to the rule change).
Miss North Dakota USA 2024 Codi Miller was born and raised on a real working cattle ranch in southwestern North Dakota. Her pageant and modeling career started when she was 15. She won the title of Miss North Dakota Teen USA and competed in the Bahamas at Miss Teen USA as the youngest contestant that year. In between beauty pageants, Codi followed in her mother’s footsteps in the rodeo and rodeo queen world. She is a nationally recognized cowgirl, who was awarded the title of Miss Rodeo North Dakota in 2014 and placed Top 10 at Miss Rodeo America. She is currently the National Director of Miss Rodeo North Dakota Pageant Organization, where she has founded a scholarship program for young women.
Codi enjoys spending her time helping young people in their personal and professional goals. She has been able to travel the country as a motivational speaker and event host. She is a new homeowner and enjoys decorating and remodeling her little home, as well as owning and operating a western upholstery business.
Codi believes her time in pageants has helped her achieve career goals and building relationships all over the country. After 7 years competing in the MISS USA System, she is eager for the opportunity to compete at MISS USA. As Miss North Dakota USA, Codi hopes to bring awareness to the cowboy lifestyle, while continuing her social impact initiative “positive outlets for a positive outlook” focused on mental health advocacy. She also plans to continue her involvement with Make-A-Wish North Dakota.
