A native of Charlotte, Jane Axhoj was crowned Miss North Carolina Teen USA on 11 October 2014 and represented North Carolina at the Miss Teen USA 2015 pageant at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Jane loves music and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has trained in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop as well as performing solos each year and she attended the Rockettes Summer Intensive in 2012 and 2014. After winning the Miss North Carolina USA 2020 title, Jane moved to Providence, Rhode Island to work for L’Oreal and became a New England Patriots Cheerleader.
Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2015 Jane Axhoj is a 16-year-old junior at Marvin Ridge High School in Waxhaw. Jane loves music and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has been on the Miller Street Dance Academy Competition Team since the age of 6 where she is training in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop as well as performing 2 solos each year. Dance is one of her passions and a way of expressing herself. She attended the Rockettes Summer Intensive in 2012 and 2014 and loved it so much she plans to audition for the Rockettes when she is 18 years old. As an advocate for health and fitness, Jane is a certified Zumba instructor and will be teaching at the local YMCA.
Jane is in the top 10% of her high school class where she is currently taking 3 AP courses and is a member of the Beta Club and French National Honor Society. She plans to attend college and major in International Business. Jane attended the LEAP Leadership and Training Conference at UCLA in the summer of 2014 and found it to be extremely rewarding. She looks forward to attending the conference again next summer.
Jane loves meeting people and serving the community. She has helped collect children’s toys for Toys for Tots for the past 4 years, participated in the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure, and along with her dance team has helped raise over $50,000 for the ACFI Liberian Orphanage. Jane is thrilled to have the opportunity to be Miss NC Teen USA 2015. This is an exciting chapter in her life and she plans to reach out to as many teens as she can through this role to encourage them to realize their self worth and potential. Jane is proud to represent NC at the Miss Teen USA pageant which will be held in the fall of 2015.
