One of my favourite sections of the site (even if I’ve never settled on the perfect name for it!), a look at all the Miss Wyoming Teen USA titleholders who’ve gone on to compete at Miss USA or in other state pageants. It’s always inspiring to see where their journeys have taken them — whether they won a crown early on, competed once or twice and then hung up the heels or kept showing up year after year, showing persistence in their quest to walk the Miss USA stage.
Wyoming was one of the later states to crown their first former Teen, with the first coming with Katie Rudoff’s (1999) win in 2004. Up until Grace Turner (2019) and Baylee Drewry (2020) competed in 2022 and 2023, every single Wyoming Teen who had competed at the state level had eventually won a title, an incredible 100% success rate not matched by any other state. Baylee later won Miss Wyoming 2024 and of course we may still see them return to the USA stage.
Another Miss Wyoming crossover, in 2023 Mackenzie Kern (2018) became the first “Triple Crown” winner in eight years, having competed at Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss America.
