One of my favourite sections of the site (even if I’ve never settled on the perfect name for it!), a look at all the Miss Nevada Teen USA titleholders who’ve gone on to compete at Miss USA or in other state pageants. It’s always inspiring to see where their journeys have taken them — whether they won a crown early on, competed once or twice and then hung up the heels or kept showing up year after year, showing persistence in their quest to walk the Miss USA stage.
Nevada has had six former Teens win the Miss Nevada USA title, including 4 of 8 titleholders from 1991-1998. Their most recent former Teen to win was Georgina Vaughan (2006) in 2009, making them now one of the states that has gone the longest since crowning a former Teen. Georgina has since gone on to a successful career in phtoography.
Until 2024 only three of the 2010s Teens had returned to compete, with the closest being Amanda Jenkins (2013) finishing first runner-up in 2016. This year Erica Bonilla (2019) has announced she is competing for the 2025 title.
