A native of China, Maine, Miss Maine USA 2013 Ali Clair represented Maine at the Miss USA 2013 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ali was a graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in Journalism with an Advertising concentration and a minor in Dance.
Miss Maine USA 2013 Ali Clair was born and raised in China, Maine. She has a younger sister, Annie. Growing up, the two girls grew up riding horses and enjoying the outdoors.
Ali attended Erskine Academy, a small private high school where she was on honor roll. She played basketball, ran cross-country, danced and was an active member on the Speech and Debate team. Ali attended the University of Maine in Orono for her undergraduate degree. She graduated Cum Laude in 2011 with a BA in Journalism with an Advertising concentration and completed a minor in Dance. While at UMaine, Ali participated in Dance Club, American Collegiate Dance Festival and was an on-air personality at WMEB. During her senior year she was inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s official honor society at 4-year universities.
Upon graduation, Ali completed a long-term internship at L.L. Bean in Freeport, ME. She was involved in the Marketing and Events department, where she assisted with promotional events, company marketing, new store openings, community relations, and event management. Ali currently serves as Marketing Director at Dirigo Capital Advisors, a commercial real estate development company in Portland, ME.
