A native of Hartford, Miss Maine Teen USA 2018 Erin McPherson represented Maine at the Miss Teen USA 2018 pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana. Erin loves working with children and has volunteered at two children’s hospitals. She is also a peer tutor in the special education room at her high school. Both experiences were immensely rewarding, and she aspires to continue to do more volunteering.
Miss Maine Teen USA 2018 Erin McPherson is sixteen years old and was born and raised in Western Maine. An animal lover, Erin has a black lab, two small breed dogs, and a cat. Erin is a junior at Spruce Mountain High School. She has a varied background in sports and activities. She has previously played basketball, soccer, track, and softball. Erin also has a background in dance with many years of jazz, tap, ballet, and pointe. She spent two summers earning horseback riding lessons as a working student. Erin’s one true passion in athletics is field hockey and she plays on the varsity team at her high school.
Erin is a peer tutor in the special education room at her high school. She has developed bonds with many of the students and finds her time with them to be very rewarding. She describes the students as fun-loving and full of positive energy. Erin loves working with children and has volunteered at two children’s hospitals. Both experiences were immensely rewarding, and she aspires to continue to do more volunteering.
Erin is overjoyed and honored to be representing her beautiful home state of Maine as the new Miss Maine Teen USA 2018, and will proudly compete at Miss Teen USA.
Erin looks forward to many new opportunities and adventures this year. She is tenacious, dedicated, and plans to maximize her time during her reign as Miss Maine Teen USA, as well as making new friendships with her 2018 Clemente New England sisters!
