3rd runner-up 2013, Semi-finalist 2012, Semi-finalist 2011
A native of Lake Mills, Patience Vallier was crowned Miss Wisconsin Teen USA on 15 September 2013 and represented Wisconsin at the Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2014 Patience Vallier credits her parents for the person she’s become, because they’ve always encouraged her to pursue her goals and dreams. One of her dreams is to become a hyperpolyglot (someone who can fluently speak six or more languages). She is motivated to learn languages in order to better understand the people and the world around her. “By learning about other cultures and languages, you open doors for yourself, and it enables you to understand and empathize with a wide range of people,” she says, “That’s the best thing you can do for another person, offer them compassion and understanding. Every human being has the desire to be understood and listened to.” Language is only one thing out of thousands that make us different. The idea is to accept other people no matter their differences. As a titleholder in the Miss Universe Organization, she hopes to be an example of someone who understands, listens, and values friendship.
