A native of Waunakee, Alexis Loomans was crowned Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2018 on 10 September 2017 and represented Wisconsin at the Miss Teen USA 2018 pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana. In August of 2017, Alexis held her first fashion show “Children’s Catwalk for a Cause,” and all of the proceeds went to the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison. She has continued to run these fashion shows, most recently as Miss Wisconsin USA 2023.
Ever since Alexis was a little girl, her dream and greatest goal was to become Miss Wisconsin Teen USA. Never did she think that at 15, that goal would be achieved.
Growing up in Waunakee, Wisconsin, she’s always had a drive in her that has wanted to lend a helping hand. In August of 2017, Alexis held her first fashion show “Children’s Catwalk for a Cause,” and all of the proceeds went to the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. This is also the place she hopes to work once she achieves another goal of hers, which is to become a pediatric anesthesiologist. For now, she’s staying busy on the Waunakee High School dance team, tennis team, and track team.
With this title, not only does Alexis plan on representing the state of Wisconsin and using the title to its ultimate potential, but also to continue to raise money for the American Family Children’s Hospital and get others her age involved. In addition, she is looking forward to making a difference outside of her community, and empowering young ladies who hope to make a positive change in their community as well.
