Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2008
A native of Franksville, Courtney Lopez was crowned Miss Wisconsin USA on 20 September 2009 and represented Wisconsin at the Miss USA 2010 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Miss Wisconsin USA 2010 Courtney Lopez originally set her eyes on pursing the title of Miss Wisconsin USA in 2011, but was convinced to pursue her dreams this year after winning a spot in the 2010 Bahamas Beauty tourism calendar and being named 1st Runner-up to the cover during a recent model search. Some very special people encouraged Courtney to purse her dreams in 2010 rather than waiting. Lopez’s dream came true on September 20th in the host city of Middleton, Wisconsin, when she was crowned Miss Wisconsin USA 2010.
Courtney recently moved to Franksville, Wisconsin, with her parents although she was born and raised in Oak Creek and still refers to this community as home. A 2008 graduate of Oak Creek High School, Lopez was voted second by her class as “Most Likely To Be Famous.” She currently is attending the Milwaukee Area Technical College in the registered nursing program and works part-time at Aurora South Shore Hospital in the medical surgical unit. In addition, she will soon be attending the New York Film Academy to explore her interest of being in front of the camera.
The on-stage moments, the tension of the final two and the glory of the crowning, here are Courtney’s state pageant photos.
