A native of Mequon, Sage Gundelly was crowned Miss Wisconsin Teen USA on 8 May 2022, by her older sister Shreya, Miss WI Teen USA 2021. Sage was the youngest contestant at the Miss Teen USA 2022 pageant in Reno, Nevada where she followed in her sister’s footsteps and made the top 16. She has created her own non-profit organization called L.E.A.D., speaking to young girls and boys across the state of Wisconsin about the importance of equality and diversity.

She has created her own non-profit organization called L.E.A.D. Speaking to young girls and boys across the state of Wisconsin about the importance of equality and diversity, Sage shares her story of self-love while being bullied, and looked at differently due to the color of her skin. After five years of passion and determination, Sage is proud to show children throughout the country that with hard work you can achieve your dreams, regardless of where you come from.
Now, as a freshman in high school, she is a member of the high school robotics strategy team, member of the forensics club and won silver medal in forensics at state level and plays violin in orchestra. Sage aspires to pursue the medical field to help the underprivileged people across the world.

Sage’s mission as Miss Wisconsin Teen USA, is to serve as a role model, and put her state on the map. She hopes that with this title she gets the opportunity to not simply grace the Miss Teen USA stage but touch the hearts of individuals everywhere.
