A native of Brookfield, Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2010 Kirsten Norderhaug was the daughter of Linda (Paulson) Norderhaug, Miss North Dakota USA 1976. She was a junior at Brookfield Academy and a member of the varsity tennis team during her reign. Kirsten later attained a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Luther College.
On September 20th, 2009, Kirsten Norderhaug was named Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2010 in Middleton, Wisconsin. She was honored and excited as the moment that she had dreamt about since she was a young girl, and is proud to follow in the footsteps of her mother, Linda (Paulson) Norderhaug, Miss North Dakota USA 1976.
A junior at Brookfield Academy in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Kirsten has been on the Honor Roll since 3rd Grade and is a member of varsity girlÃs tennis team. Kirsten is a sports reporter for Knights Notes and has a passion for languages, studying both French and Norwegian for over ten years. She is also a Voice of Democracy Award winner, a volunteer with the Veterans of Foreign Wars; and in her free time, youÃll find her sailing on Lake Michigan.As Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2010, Kirsten will spend her year traveling across the state of Wisconsin, promoting the important platforms of Miss Teen USA. ìI want to reach as many individuals as possible and share with them the challenging issues that young people are facing today and how all of us of can take action to encourage healthy choices
