A native of Sapulpa, Jaselyn Rossman was crowned Miss Oklahoma Teen USA on 26 March 2023 and represented Oklahoma at Miss Teen USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Jaselyn is an accounting student at Oklahoma State University and is also a member of the Oklahoma State Pom Squad. On her high school dance team she was a 9 time State Champion, a 3 time National Champion, and made the All State Dance Team.
Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2023 Jaselyn Rossman is a full time student at Oklahoma State University, majoring in Accounting. She plans to use her accounting degree to become the CEO of her own company, whether that is starting an Accounting Firm or beginning a fitness brand. She is also a member of the Oklahoma State Pom Squad, where she dances on the sidelines of Boone Pickens Stadium during football season and Gallagher Iba Arena during basketball and wrestling season. She is also an active member of her sorority, Pi Beta Phi.
She graduated from Sapulpa High School with many accomplishments. On her dance team she became a 9 time State Champion, a 3 time National Champion, and made the All State Dance Team. In basketball she reached the state tournament 3 years in a row, but in her junior season she became a 5A State Champion in girls basketball as a starter. She was National Honors Society President, as well as serving many years as class President, and she achieved the first ever Chieftain Core Value Award for Character. She graduated as a Valedictorian, Oklahoma Academic Scholar, and earned Academic All State in Basketball. Jaselyn was awarded Senior Female Athlete of the Year as well.
Jaselyn has a passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, so she has created her platform, “Get Up, and Move!” She wants to inspire and encourage people of all ages to move their bodies in any way they can, and find something they love to do so they will stick to it. She also has a deep and growing passion for Jesus and wants to be a light to show love to others.
