Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2009
A native of Houma, Brittany Guidry was crowned Miss Louisiana USA on 26 October 2013 and represented Louisiana at the Miss USA 2014 pageant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Miss Louisiana USA 2014 Brittany Guidry graduated Vandebilt Catholic High School in 2011. Shortly after graduating she moved to Lafayette to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where majored in Public Relations. She took a break from her degree to pursue a modeling career and to prepare for Miss Louisiana USA 2014. Brittany plans on returning to school to finish her degree in the future.
Brittany entered her first pageant at the age of 15. After watching her cousin, Michelle Berthelot, win Miss Louisiana USA in 2008, Brittany knew she wanted the Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2009 title. She competed the following year and won on her first try. She returned to pageantry this year and was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2014 after winning the regional Miss Florida Parishes USA title.
Brittany plans to work closely with the USO, Wounded Warrior Project, and several other organizations throughout her reign. Her goal as Miss Louisiana USA 2014 is to be a positive influence in the lives of many by speaking to boys and girls around the state about the power of positive thinking! Brittany also looks forward to working with her sponsors, the RPM team, family and friends to prepare for next her goal, Miss USA 2014!
