A native of Lake Charles, Marlee Henry was crowned Miss Louisiana Teen USA on 29 October 2011 and represented Louisiana at the Miss Teen USA 2012 pageant at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2012 Marlee Henry graduated from Lacassine High School and now attends McNeese State University where she is studying nursing. She is involved in Rotaract, a nonprofit society that strives to serve the community, and is a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. Marlee works closely with her sorority’s philanthropic organization, the Children’s Miracle Network, along with Colors for a Cause. She hopes to raise awareness for Melanoma and to remind everyone about the importance of sunscreen. She also wants to visit schools to speak about bullying, peer pressure, and to help young girls around Louisiana find confidence in their own skin.
