A native of Honolulu, Kyla Hee was crowned Miss Hawaii Teen USA on 23 November 2014 and represented Hawaii at the Miss Teen USA 2015 pageant in the Bahamas. Kyla hopes to pursue her passion for acting and singing at college. She enjoys dancing Hula, singing, playing club volleyball and stays physically fit through Cross fit training.
Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2015 Kyla Hee is of 8 different ethnicities (Hawaiian, Irish, Scottish, English, Welsh, Portuguese, Chinese and French). A Senior at the prestigious private school- Mid Pacific Institute, after she graduates this May, Kyla will be pursuing her passion for acting and singing at the Marymount Mahanttan College. Kyla is affected by Dyslexia and struggled throughout her school years yet managed to pull off a GPA of 3.5 winning scholastic awards for Science, English,History, and Math. She was recommended to the Gifted and Talented Program for the Arts since she was 6 years old and won numerous awards for her art work.
Kyla excelled in Track and Field winning numerous first place medals in the 100, 200 and 400 races. She also loves volleyball and played club volleyball for East Oahu VB club. She enjoys dancing Hula, singing, playing club volleyball and stays physically fit through Cross fit training.
Kyla is a Professional Model with Larson Talent and Model Agency in Hawaii and signed a modeling contract with a Japanese Agency. She was also scouted by Japanese Talent company to be in their next all female music group. Kyla has appeared in several Japanese films and commercials and appeared in numerous fashion print ads, television commercials and will grace the cover of the popular Hawaii Bride and Groom Magazine where she will be wearing the designs from this past year’s 3rd Runner up designer from the popular TV Reality show Project Runway – Kini Zamora.
Kyla gives of her time toward Keeping Hawaii Green by volunteering for local beach clean ups with a local club called Kokua Kai. She has 1 younger brother and 2 Foster siblings who are now in college.
