Miss Hawaii’s Outstanding Teen 2007
A native of Honolulu, Moani Hara was crowned Miss Hawaii USA on 13 October 2013 and represented Hawaii at the Miss USA 2014 pageant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Moani is a professional model and hula dancer working with local and international clients. Moani works heavily within her community as well as working closely with the Hawaii International Dyslexia Association.
Miss Hawaii USA 2014 Moani Hara is a 23 year old Public Relations student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Being a public relations major she has been able to work side by side with Billy V coordinating various events, and recently with EPR handling VIPS for this years Hawaii 5-0 premiere. Moani is a professional model and hula dancer working with local and international clients. She recently modeled in a Fashion Show with Paris Hilton. Growing up with dyslexia, a learning disability, has been a challenge for her. Being able to attend Assets School she has gained not only the proper tools needed to overcome dyslexia but also confidence and belief within herself. Moani works heavily within her community as well as working closely with HIDA, “Hawaii International Dyslexia Association” helping with events, bringing awareness to schools, and being apart of Q&As with students and there families.
Moani was Miss Hawaii’s Outstanding Teen 2007 and has also competed at Miss Hawaii, placing 1st runner-up in 2012.
