A native of Raleigh, Ashley Love-Mills was crowned Miss North Carolina USA on 10 November 2012 and represented North Carolina at the Miss USA 2013 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2015, she was cast in her first lead role in the movie LWA: All Saints Eve. Soon after, she was offered a reoccurring character in Tyler Perry’s TLC series Too Close to Home. Today, she continues to model and act in the Atlanta area.
Miss North Carolina USA 2013 Ashley Love-Mills is a 2010 graduate of North Carolina State University and received a BA in Media Communications as well as a minor in TV/Film Production. She is no stranger to the public eye, working full time in the Southeast market as model and actress.
Ashley is most passionate about being a spokesperson for Peaceful Schools-NC, a local anti-bullying program founded by the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Foundation because she was also the victim of constant bullying while attending high school. Earlier this year she conducted a series of self-esteem workshops for young girls and plans to continue to do so throughout her year of reign.
