A native of Woodward, Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2019 Abigail Billings represented Oklahoma at the Miss Teen USA 2019 pageant in Reno, Nevada.
Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2019 Abigail Billings is an 18 year old Senior at Woodward High School in Woodward, Oklahoma. She is a ‘Gifted and Talented Student’ and has maintained a 4.0 GPA her entire academic career.
Abigail is a two year 5A High School Dance Team Academic All State Champion, a three year OSDTDA Academic All State recipient, a member of National Honor Society and NHSS. She is also on track to graduate as Valedictorian of her class.
Abigail has a true admiration for dance. She began dancing at the age of 3 and has danced competitively for 11 years. Abigail is a two-time State Champion with her high school dance team and was recently selected as a member of the Oklahoma All-State Dance Team.
Abigail is the President of Key Club, Treasurer of the National Honor Society, Treasurer of her Senior Class and Co-Captain of the Boomer Dance Team. She enjoys volunteering with The Salvation Army, Oklahoma Missions of Mercy, Children’s Miracle Network Foundation, The American Red Cross, and The Special Olympics.
After her grandfather passed away from malignant melanoma, Abigail began focusing her efforts on the purpose of educating others about sun safety. She has spoken to thousands of students, various community groups, and city park officials with the focus of “Living SunSmart.” Abigail is the National Spokesperson for the Live SunSmart Foundation, and is instilling her own curriculum on an international scale with several major skincare companies. Abigail has taken her efforts to our legislature, as she was instrumental in helping pass the Oklahoma law which prohibits minors from using tanning beds.
When Abigail isn’t dancing or volunteering, you can find her hanging out with her family, reading, enjoying time at the lake, or playing with her dogs.
Winning Miss Oklahoma Teen USA is a dream come true for Abigail and she is extremely excited to be a part of the VANBROS family. She is honored to be a role model and serve the state of Oklahoma this year. She will continue educating those around her about the importance of sun safety as well as encouraging all Oklahomans to live “Confidently Beautiful.”
