Miss Maryland Teen USA 2016 Amy Ingram is currently a freshman at Towson University where she is studying Criminal Justice with a focus in Criminology. She plans to pursue her degree in Criminal Justice as a forensic blood splatter analyst, something she gained an interest in from watching the show Dexter. Amy has been recognized for her hard work and dedication as the recipient of the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Award, the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, and the Varsity Scholar Athlete Award. One of her proudest moments was graduating as one of the Top 25 seniors in her high school graduating class and also receiving the Certificate of Meritorious Service after earning over 260 Student Service Learning Hours.
When Amy is not fighting crime she hopes to also be a part-time model. She has already had the opportunity to model on multiple news segments for the Hagerstown Premium Outlets. She has also modeled for various magazines, including the Tote Magazine.
Amy has been very active her entire life. She has participated in many sports including swimming and gymnastics, but her true passion is dancing. She began dancing at the age of three and competitively danced for nine years in almost every style of dance. Amy was a four year member and the captain of her high school Varsity Pom squad. This led her to earning a spot on the All-American dance team at the NDA summer intensive. She is currently a member of the Fusion dance team at Towson and performs at various showcases and basketball games. Amy also works as a dance and gymnastics coach, which she absolutely loves.
