Miss CO Teen USA 2011 (Semi-finalist Miss Teen USA), Miss CO’s Outstanding Teen 2008
A native of Castle Pines, Caley Rae Pavillard was crowned Miss Colorado USA on 25 October 2015 and represented Colorado at the Miss USA 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Caley Rae is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas and works as a professional model.
Born in Castle Pines, Colorado, Caley-Rae grew up calling the Mile High City her home. Throughout her childhood, Caley-Rae danced competitively which gave her the opportunity to travel all over Colorado. Her dance experience carried on to high school where she was a member of the Poms squad. Although extremely focused on her studies, Caley-Rae was very active. She was the Assistant Editor of her school’s national award winning newspaper “The Rock”, a member of Student Council, and she won three State Championships in Journalism. Despite her involvement in many activities, Caley-Rae is most proud of her legacy as Co-Founder of “Wish Week”. Founded in 2010, a week composed of several fundraising events aimed to raise money to grant wishes of children through the Make-A-Wish foundation. She graduated from Rock Canyon High School with highest honors maintaining a 4.2 GPA.
After graduation, Caley-Rae attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she joined the Delta Delta Delta sorority and a service group at SMU called Mustang Heroes that donates time to several charitable organizations such as Head Start, KIPP, the North Texas Food Bank, and Vogel Alcove.
During her time at SMU she interned at D Magazine, Dallas’ most prestigious magazine and fulfilled her love of travel by studying abroad during her junior year at Regents University in London, England. In 2015, she graduated magna cum laude with two bachelor’s degrees, one in Advertising and the other in Fashion Media.
To stay fit, her love of dance led her to Pure Barre, a workout combining Pilates, ballet and yoga. Caley-Rae has been a Pure Barre teacher for the past three years and would teach up to 15 classes a week during college. It has become one of her biggest passions. Caley-Rae says she loves Pure Barre because it allows her to empower other women every day- she loves making other women feel strong, confident and powerful.
Caley-Rae now works as a full-time model and is represented by agencies internationally. She has walked for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Wildfox and Misha NoNoo. She looks forward to both the entertainment and community service opportunities being Miss Colorado USA provides.
