A resident of Denver, Talyah Polee was crowned Miss Colorado USA on 26 October 2014 and represented Colorado at the Miss USA 2015 pageant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas and competed three times at Miss Nevada USA. She now works as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
This former Division I Track and Field athlete is fourth all-time in the pentathlon at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and graduated with a degree in psychology. Soon after finishing her education, Talyah Polee made the move to Colorado where she is planning to pursue a master’s degree in psychology. Talyah’s charitable disposition has allowed her to become involved in numerous causes including the Senior Olympic Games and Hoops for St. Jude’s Foundation, where she helped raise $80k for cancer research. Talyah is passionate about music, yoga, sports, and is a devoted fan of soap operas. One day she hopes to make an appearance on The Young and the Restless. Talyah is also a basketball fanatic and an intern for the NBA Summer League, where she is able to reach out to communities, and give hope to less fortunate children and their families.
