Natasha Martinez is a 23-year-old Latino-American TV host working at KDOC-TV in Southern California. She earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism from Chapman University and interned for Entertainment Tonight and ABC7. She aspires to be a television host for live shows and red carpet coverage. Natasha has been a dancer since the age of five and spent a season working as a Laker Girl where she learned the importance and skills of being a brand ambassador for a legendary organization such as the Lakers. She is a former Disneyland princess and parade performer and loves entertaining a crowd. Her biggest role model is her mother, who is an eight year breast cancer survivor. Natasha now works with her mother’s former hospital to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. She believes it important to raise funds for research, and it is even more important for women to be educated on early detection and self examinations because that is what saved her mother.
