A native of Anaheim Hills, Melanie Mitchell was crowned Miss California Teen USA on 11 January 2015 and represented California at the Miss Teen USA 2015 pageant in the Bahamas. She is currently a high school sophomore who is being homeschooled. Her goal is to graduate with honors from a University with a degree in Music.

2015 bio:

Melanie is a multi-talented singer, dancer and actress. Her latest role was in Musical Theatre West’s production of Beauty and the Beast. She is currently a high school sophomore who is being homeschooled. Her goal is to graduate with honors from a University with a degree in Music.
