A native of Huntington Beach, Jaanu Patel was crowned Miss California Teen USA on 4 December 2016 and represented California at the Miss Teen USA 2017 pageant in Phoenix, Arizona. Jaanu was a junior at Huntington Beach High School during her reign and went on to graduate from UCLA. She loves to travel and represented her school at the International Model United Nations Conference in Montreal.
Jaanu is a junior at Huntington Beach High School. She aspires to become a pediatrician and is currently a volunteer with Kaiser Permanente’s maternity ward. Jaanu has participated in Bollywood dance since she was four. She loves to travel – she’s been to 15 countries spread over 6 of the 7 continents – and has represented her school at the International Model United Nations Conference in Montreal.
