A native of New Jersey who moved to Los Angeles in early 2010, Alyssa Campanella was crowned Miss California USA on 21 November 2010 and represented California at the Miss USA 2011 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alyssa went on to a successful career as a blogger and influencer. She is one of a very small number of contestants who placed in the final two at both Miss Teen USA and Miss USA.
Three months after winning Miss USA, Alyssa competed at Miss Universe 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil and placed in the top 16.
