Athenna is a Senior at Leland High School and aspires to become a disabilities rights attorney and run for public office. She plays the sax in the school band and in her spare time hosts the TV show, Eco Company, and web show, Picture the Possibilities. She was recently awarded the Cinequest Film Festival’s Christine Storey Trailblazer Award. Athenna has dual US & Venezuelan citizenship. Athenna loves to rap, play the saxophone, and dance along to her favorite songs. Athenna currently hosts the nationally syndicated television show “Eco Company” which airs on Fox and is a spokesmodel and host for the Cinequest Film Festival. Additionally, she has worked as a commercial print model for brands such as Verizon Wireless, Xfinity and Monster Energy Drinks. Athenna loves to volunteer for Autism Speaks and Best Buddies and hopes to pursue a career in disability advocacy, one day becoming an attorney. Additionally, she has interned for the California State Senate, has worked on local legislative campaigns, and plans to eventually run for public office. Athenna is graduating from high school with honors and plans on attending St. Mary’s college in the fall.
