A native of Castle Pines, Alexis Wynne was crowned Miss Colorado Teen USA on 25 October 2015 and represented Colorado at the Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant in the Bahamas. Being an athlete her entire life, she has played soccer competitively for over a decade and has competed for her high school track & field team as well as the soccer team.
Miss Colorado Teen USA 2016 Alexis Wynne is 18 years old and attends Rock Canyon High School. Currently she is a senior, honors student, and in the STEM program and will be graduating in the spring of 2016. After graduation, she plans on attending college and studying pre-med so that she can follow her dream of becoming a doctor. She is a Colorado native that was born in Boulder and now lives in Castle Pines. Being an athlete her entire life, she has played soccer competitively for over a decade and has competed for her high school track & field team as well as the soccer team. In high school, Alexis has been involved in many different activities including the orchestra, where she played the violin, Discover Med Club and World Change Club.
Her family’s involvement for over 10 years in The Bridge Project, a non-profit organization, fueled her passion for giving back to her community. Ever since being introduced to the Make-A-Wish Foundation by her high school, the joy of granting children’s wishes has made the charity near and dear to her heart. She also volunteers at local elementary schools, where she spends time judging science fairs, encouraging children to pursue the sciences and get involved in STEM; she helps with carnivals, book fairs and assisting teachers in the classroom. In addition, her love for soccer prompted her to manage her high school boys’ JV and Varsity soccer teams.
She lives with her parents, Sherry and Alec Wynne and siblings, Braxton and Mia. Alexis works at Jack & Jill Children’s Salon as a party hostess, and is also a newly signed model. Alexis loves surrounding herself in Colorado’s beauty by taking nature hikes and camping with her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, reading, going to sporting events, shopping, cooking and baking, watching movies and horseback riding.
