A resident of Englewood, Cindy Yan was crowned Miss Colorado Teen USA on 27 October 2013 and represented Colorado at the Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant in the Bahamas. CIndy is the first Chinese American to win the title. Her hobbies include modeling and also guiding special needs kids in playing basketball.
Miss Colorado Teen USA 2014 Cindy Yan was born in Omaha, Nebraska before moving to Denver, Colorado at the age of 8. She is 100% Chinese and has two younger sisters. One of the biggest aspects of her life is modeling. It’s been something that she has been passionate about since the age of 13. She is obsessed with fashion trends and loves to put together looks. Cindy aspires to be a pediatric oncologist in the future and is a strong believer of respect for everyone. She lives by the motto: treat others the way you wish to be treated! Cindy tries to stay grounded every day and appreciate everyone who has positively impacted her life!
