Julie Kuo was crowned Miss Hawaii USA on 6 November 2016 and represented Hawaii at the Miss USA 2017 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Julie was born in Taiwan and moved to Honolulu when she was ten. She aspires to be a small restaurant owner & serve her favourite Taiwanese dishes.
Miss Hawaii USA 2017 Julie Kuo was born & raised in Taiwan and moved to Hawaii with her family when she was ten years old. She is the 2012 valedictorian of Roosevelt High School and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She currently works as a server at Tango in Kakaako, where she was spotted & recruited to compete for the Miss Hawaii USA pageant. She aspires to be a small restaurant owner & serve her favourite Taiwanese dishes. Julie would best describe herself as quirky, independent and dedicated. She has played the violin for over ten years, and is extremely passionate about animals.
