A native of Huntington, Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2017 Olivia Hutchison represented West Virginia at the Miss Teen USA 2017 pageant in Phoenix, Arizona where she made the semi-finals. Olivia has danced for 15 years, 9 of those competitively. Through dance, she loves to tell a story without words. Olivia has gone on to earn a marketing degree from Marshall University and an MBA from East Tennessee State University.
Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2017 Olivia Hutchison comes from a very tight knit, Hispanic/Italian family. The youngest of 4 children she is very adaptable and a self-proclaimed people pleaser. She has been very involved in multiple student organizations even serving as Student Body Vice President, as well as being dedicated to her studies graduating in top 3 percent of her class. She has danced for 15 years, 9 of those competitively. Through dance, she loves to tell a story without words. She is very passionate about awareness for not only tolerance, but also inclusion of others, no matter their race, gender, health, or socioeconomic status. Her favorite quote is, “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind. Always.”- Brad Meltzer
