A native of Brookland, a suburb of Washington DC, Faith Porter was crowned Miss District of Columbia USA on 4 June 2022 and represented District of Columbia at the Miss USA 2022 pageant in Reno, Nevada. Faith is a theatre producer, performer, makeup artist, and casting professional.
Miss District of Columbia USA 2022 Faith Porter is a graduate of Pace University with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Entertainment Management.
Faith previously served as the House Seats Coordinator and Company Management Assistant for Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway and is currently working as a Casting Assistant at Grant Wilfley Casting. She has assisted in background casting for Starz’s Power Book III: Raising Kanan, HBO’s We Own This City, and Amazon Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Faith is also Co-Director of CreateHER, a free course for female and non-binary high school students who are interested in playwriting and producing for theatre. She is also the host of Sash Facts with Faith Maria on the VIP Pageantry network.
“Representing the District of Columbia at Miss USA has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and that dream is finally coming true! I am overwhelmed with gratitude and I want to thank all of my friends, family, and sponsors who helped me get to this point. I am excited to spend the year in service to my community.
