A native of Huntertown, KK Kokonaing was crowned Miss Indiana Teen USA on 10 April 2022 and represented Indiana at the Miss Teen USA 2022 pageant in Reno, Nevada. KK made history by being crowned the first-ever Burmese-American to win a state Teen USA title, and she wore a traditional Burmese outfit as her state costume to celebrate the Burmese community in Indiana. She hopes to work in clinical research as a neuroscientist and serve others in ministry as a worship leader.

KK was the first 2022 Teen titleholder to return and compete in a Miss pageant, finishing 5th runner-up to Stephanie Sullivan at Miss Indiana USA 2024. She competed alongside her younger sister JJ who was a runner-up at Miss Indiana Teen USA. She and JJ also competed at Miss Indiana USA 2026, where KK placed first runner-up to Enny Oke.
