A native of Pittsboro, Haley Begay was crowned Miss Indiana USA on 17 July 2023 and represented Indiana at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Haley is a former Miss Indiana and a member of the Cherokee nation who has embarked on a career in sports journalism.
Haley Jordan, Miss Indiana USA 2023, is a volleyball and basketball analyst for ESPN+ and a full-time broadcasting teacher at Plainfield High School. She attended IU (Indiana University) on a full-ride scholarship and graduated with a 3.9 GPA.
In the Summer of 2023, she works as the pregame show host and emcee for the Indianapolis Indians baseball team at Victory Field. She is the host of an Indy Eleven docuseries airing in August 2023.
Haley has covered over ten sports and interviewed hundreds of athletes from the high school level to the pros.

In 2017 Haley won the Miss Indiana title and went on to represent Indiana at Miss America 2018. She returned to pageantry in 2022, placing first runner-up to Samantha Toney before winning the 2022 Miss Indiana USA title.
