A native of Stamford, Jamie Hughes was crowned Miss Connecticut USA on 7 January 2018 and represented Connecticut at the Miss USA 2018 pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jamie is a Relationship Manager for The Hometown Foundation, Inc, a charity supporting individuals in need in the community.
Jamie Hughes is a professional fit model working for multiple major fashion companies including Kate Spade, Shoshanna, and Rachel Roy. Although it is Jamie’s job to stay physically fit she loves to indulge in her all-time favorite food, French Fries. Aside from work, Jamie loves to travel and is involved in the Make-A-Wish Organization as a Wish Granter. Jamie believes in a work life balance and loves nothing more than spending time with her friends and diverse family which consists of a Colombian stepfather, two step brothers and an adopted African American brother. Jamie wants to continue to spread her message on the importance of acceptance and accepting those around you.
