Top 16 Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2017, Non-finalist 2016
Mackenzie Hinderberger was crowned Miss Arkansas Teen USA on 29 October 2017 and represented Arkansas at the Miss Teen USA 2018 pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana. A native of Louisiana, Mackenzie is a freshman at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She sponsors her own pageant each year called “Little Miss Sunshine” for young girls and has donated over 2,500 dollars to Children’s Miracle Network and Give the Kids the World.
Miss Arkansas Teen USA 2018 Mackenzie Hinderberger grew up in Louisiana and is a Freshman at University of Arkansas majoring in Sports Journalism Communication. Mackenzie is proud of her biggest support system, her family.
Mackenzie modeled for Must Haves boutique for three years. Mackenzie had the opportunity to walk the runway for Jovani in the Atlanta Market in Georgia her junior year. She was honored to have her dream realized when she was asked to attend New York Fashion Week and walk the runway for 4 different designers. When she returned she was featured in her home town paper front page, “From Parkway to the Runway”. She has modeled for Simply Chic Boutique and now is one of six girls featured on their business card.

Mackenzie loves animals. She has a cat named Stella and 3 dogs which 2 are rescue. She promotes her platform “Paws for a Cause” where she works closely with the organization called “Baby Mamas” who takes in pregnant dogs off the street and helps nurse the babies until they are ready to be adopted. Her motto is “Adopt, don’t Shop”. Her family fosters puppies until they can find their Forever Home.
In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, taking her pups to Starbucks for a treat, hanging out with friends and shopping.
During her reign, Mackenzie wants to instill in young girls the confidence to believe in their self and to love the unique person they are while accepting others the way they are. Her motto is you are in competition with no one but yourself. While boosting confidence she hopes to expand her platform “Paws for a Cause” and bring awareness all across Arkansas.
Mackenzie is honored to be representing Arkansas and is excited to be a Vambros girl. Her dream that she has worked for so many years has finally come true.
