Mackenzie Hinderberger won the Miss Arkansas USA title on 30 April 2023 and represented Arkansas at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. A native of Louisiana who moved to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas, Mackenzie now lives in Farmington where she has begun her teaching career. One of Mackenzie’s priorities is school safety and she plans to meet with legislators and school boards to encourage the implementation of new safety procedures.
Miss Arkansas USA 2023 Mackenzie Hinderberger is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. After college, Mackenzie moved to Farmington, AR to begin her teaching career. She will be entering her second year of teaching at Bob Folsom Elementary School. Last year she taught third grade but will be transitioning to Kindergarten in the fall. Mackenzie has such a heart and passion for kids and helping shape their future. She works hard to create a culture for learning and acceptance in her classroom. Mackenzie loves making learning fun anyway she can!
This past year, Mackenzie also took on the role of Farmington High School Dance coach where she will be able to coach and mentor the high school team for the 2023-2024 season.One of Mackenzie’s priorities is school safety. She believes that there is such a need for stronger regulations and procedures for our schools in order to protect our students and faculty. She plans to meet with legislators and hopefully work to make needed changes for school safety. She also visits with school boards across the state to help implement new safety procedures.Another thing Mackenzie is passionate about is motivating her students and other children to be H.E.R.Os, which stands for Helpful, Encouraging, Responsible, and Optimistic.
Mackenzie is no stranger to the pageant world, she was crowned Miss Arkansas Teen USA in 2018 where she went on to compete at the 2018 Miss Teen USA competition in Shreveport, LA. Mackenzie even got to “call the hogs” in her Miss Teen USA interview!She not only has a passion for people but also the HOGS! Mackenzie enjoys attending Razorback sporting events to cheer on the hogs! When she is not teaching, you can find her crafting or taking hikes in the beautiful trails with her two pups, Bella & Luna!

Mackenzie started competing in her home state of Louisiana, before winning the Miss Arkansas Teen USA 2018 title in her first year at college. She competed for the Miss title twice before winning.
